The library will be closed for the July 4 holiday. If someone is available, the library may be open during the city parade.
Our monthly story hour will be July 25, 2022. Every child 2-8, plus siblings and friends of the family, is welcome to attend. Each child must have a parent accompany them.
Story hour will begin around 11 am and a hotdog lunch will be served after the reading is finished for those in attendance.

On Saturday, May 21, Amanda Fisher (aka the “Snake Lady”) will be here to read a story. She will be bringing some of her pet snakes, reptiles and amphibians. She will be sharing information about these animals and how they live and need care. Visitors will be able to pet and hold some of her animals.
Children ages 2-8 are welcome to vist the library from 11-noon to listen while Amanda reads a book. A free hot dog lunch will be served to all who attend. Siblings and friends are welcome. A parent must accompany each child.
Regular hours for the library on this day are 10 am to 2 pm.
The Fordland Memorial Library will be serving a burrito meal for $5 at this event. This meal will include a homemade burrito, chips, cookie or brownie and a drink.
Local vendors will be set up on the parking lot west of the library. If you are a local vendor and wish to have a booth, contact the library via the Fordland Resident Facebook page or email using the library address. There are no setup fees.
The library will be selling used books, baked goods and other items.
The Fordland Memorial Library will be serving a Burrito (Enchilada style) Lunch from 11 am to 1 pm at the Marshfield Assembly of God Church. The cost will be $10.
This year’s Missouri Cherry Blossom Festival will be April 28, 29, 30 with an opening concert on April 27 (Wednesday) night.
