Build a Gingerbread House workshop

Come to the library for the 2nd Build a Gingerbread House workshop will be held on Saturday 10, 2022, after the Fordland City Christmas Parade. All the supplies and gingerbread houses will be provided by the Legacy Tree Service.

The parade starts around 11:30 pm. If you are able to let us know in advance, it would be appreciated. We don’t want to run out of supplies.

Have some fun with your children at the Fordland Memorial Library! All ages are welcome.

A Visit From Mr. and Mrs. Santa

Mr. and Mrs. Santa will be visiting the library on Saturday, November 26, 2022.  They will be available for picture taking from 10 am to 2 pm, except during story time at 11 am.

Santa will be reading a story to the children. A free hotdog lunch will be provided for those that are present during the story time reading. An adult must accompany each child.

Book Fair, Local Vendors and Baked Goods

The Fordland Memorial Library will be serving chili, soup, and burritos (including a  meal combo for $5) at this event. Banana and pumpkin bread, cookies, brownies and other tasty sweets will be for sale.

Local vendors will be set up on the parking lot west of the library. Watch for pictures of their wares on the Fordland Resident Facebook page and the Fordland Memorial Library Facebook page. There will pottery, greeting cards, cupcakes, wreaths, Christmas signs, towels and decorations and so much more. All made by local people.

Our used books will be free with a donation to the library. You may take as many books as you would like.

Room 135 will have vendors inside. The Schofield Gray event will be happening on the east side of town.
