The library’s annual 3-day yard sale will be June 15, 16, 17 starting at 8 am each day. For convenience, the sale will be located at 244 W Main Street, Fordland. If anyone would like to donate items, please text 417-299-1485.
All proceeds from this yard sale go to benefit the library.

So far we have 6 different families that have donated items for this yard sale,
During library hours on Saturday, May 20, the snake lady (Amanda Fisher) will be visiting to share her reptiles and snakes and read a story or two. The library’s regular hours are 10 -2 this Saturday. Story time starts around 11 am. Lunch is provided for those who attend.
In conjunction with the Schofield + Gray event, the Fordland Memorial Library will be having a fundraiser along with other merchants and vendors in town. The Schofield event will be on the east side of town while the library will be hosting similar venues on the west side of town. The parking lot will be set up with local vendors. If you are interested in setting up a vendorĀ The town of Fordland will be bustling with activity.
The library will be serving burritos and a burrito meal plus baked goods. Our baked goods include banana nut bread and pumpkin breads, cookies, brownies, plus other goodies.
The library will have used books for FREE with a donation accepted.
Framed pictures, small home safe, 4-wheel walker, blankets, IRISES–several varieties. Other items will be for sale–Come see us!
The Fordland Memorial Library will be serving a Burrito (Enchilada style) Lunch from 11 am to 1 pm at the Marshfield Assembly of God Church. The cost will be $10.
The meal will include a burrito, refried beans, Spanish rice, dessert and drink. You may enjoy your meal at the church or take it TO GO. If you would like to order ahead, please call or text 417-299-1485.

The library will be closed Monday morning, April 24, while we prepare foods for our burrito luncheon for the Cherry Blossom Festival to be served on Thursday, April 27, from 11 am – 1 pm at the Marshfield Assembly of God Church.
We will be open during the afternoon from 2 pm – 5 pm.
