August 20, 2022 @ 10:30 am - 2:00 pm
August 20, 2022 is a special reading day for anyone who would like to attend. Local authors will be meeting patrons at the library starting about 10:30 am. Three authors will be reading their book(s) and making them available for purchase. Come meet the authors and purchase an autographed copy! Authors will be available until 12:30 or 1:00, depending on the attendance.
The storytime will begin around 11 am with a hotdog lunch provided for those present after the readings. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The authors that will be available include:
Tiffany (Coryell) Tutu presenting “What Did Your Dinosaur Do Today?” Her books will sell for $16.00 for hardback and $11.00 for softcovers.
Darleen Anderson presenting “Flip Flop and Don’t Stop”. Her books will sell for $12.00.
Michelle Underwood presenting “A Lion’s Roar in a Can” and “Claire, the Awesome, Amazing Adventurer goes on Safari”. Her books will sell for $15 each.
Two local vendors will be outside on the parking lot. Shalee’s Shaved Ice will be selling S, M, L snow cones for $3, $4, and $5 respectively. Be Unique will be doing face painting for $5. When a book is purchased from one of the authors, the library will pay $1 to reduce the price of the face painting.
The craft for this event is rock painting. The library will cover the cost of the supplies. Come out and be a part of this fun Saturday!
