Fordland Market Days with Schofield + Gray

November 9 will be the last Fordland Market Day of 2024. Come check out all the vendors, grab a bite to eat, and get some free books!

The Fordland Memorial Library will have its last book fair of the year.  As many books as you select will be FREE, but a donation to the library is appreciated. The library will be serving fresh homemade soups and chili inside with some goodie desserts and a drink.

Weather permitting, hamburgers and hotdogs will be grilled and available for purchase. The library will be having yard sale items, including clothing that is suitable for those cooler fall and winter temperatures.

Vendors will be set up along the library lawn and parking lot. Plan to get some of your Christmas shopping done. Main Street Fordland will be busy for lots of shopping enjoyment.

Costumes at the Castle

Please join us for the Fordland Memorial Library’s October storytime at the Chateau Charmant–Fordland’s own castle! Tai Kimes, aka “Lady Christmas”, will be reading and directing activities for those who attend. Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes, but it is not required.

Check out the event on Facebook at the Fordland Memorial Library page. There is a link to register, but that is not required. However, it would be helpful to know how many are attending to make sure there are enough supplies available for all those who come for fun.

Get your pictures taken while you are at the Chateau Charmant castle. It makes a great background.

If you want to meet at the library parking lot about 10:15, a group can drive together. Or just meet at the castle by 11 am.

Chateau Charmant castle is located at: 1700 Martins Branch Rd, Fordland, MO
